What is the WCW Rummage Sale?
It is a great community event, now in its 44th year, that the Woman’s Club of Wilmette (WCW) holds as a fund raiser to support the Club’s efforts and to benefit local organizations.
What is sold at the WCW Rummage Sale?
All sorts of treasures are to be found at the sale. There will be 18 departments including antiques, jewelry, furniture, household goods, and children’s items all in a comfortable, air conditioned setting.
What can I donate?
Donate basically anything in good shape including furniture, household items, children’s items, etc.
How do I donate?
Please call Mark at the Club at 847-251-0527 to arrange for a time to drop off at the club house.
If these times don’t work, you can call Mark Loendorf at the Club at 847-251-0527 to arrange for another drop-off time.
Are there other ways I can help the WCW Rummage Sale?
The WCW is offering great community service opportunities to families this summer. Parents and their children could help by sorting rummage, selling bottled drinks, bagging unsold items after the sale, or in a variety of other ways. Call Woman's Club of Wilmette Rummage Chairs, Joan Thesing (847-251-8653) or Kay Malm (847-256-2629) to volunteer.
